Chandu Champion Review: Plot
The movie starts by showing Murlikant Petkar, where he goes to a Police Station for filing complaint of President for not giving him Arjuna Award. After this scene, the story goes in flashback where childhood of Murlikant Petkar is shown. He sees someone on a railway station with a gold medal appreciated by everyone.
A spark glows in his eyes as a childhood dream of earning a gold medal for his country. He faces lots of bullying in this young age after he shares his dream with everyone. As the time passes, he becomes older and his desire to win the gold medal increases.
He runs away from his village in a train to join army camp where he meets Major Uttam Singh who advices him to become a boxer. His life changes after this decision and he faces defeat in finals of Tokyo Olympic. After this he rejoins army camp and continue his duty.
Once a day, their army camp is attacked by airships and Murlikant Petkar is severely injured. After this incident his life takes a miraculous turn and he competes in 1972 Summer Paralympics and rest is in the movie to watch.
